Police called to Shinfield Co-op after reported knife incident
Police at the scene of the incident Police were called to a Co-op store in Shinfield following reports of a suspected knife-related incident that prompted a large emergency response. The incident took place at the Co-op on Hyde End Road on Saturday evening, where officers arrived after receiving reports of a robbery. Conservatives win Shinfield parish council by-election
The Conservative Party has won a by-election for Shinfield Parish Council. Hilary Pollock, a longstanding member of the Conservatives, won the by-election for the Shinfield Village ward of the parish held yesterday, Tuesday, March 24. The election was called following the resignation of councillor Andrew Grimes, who was an independent.
